Top 5 Technical Analysts of India and their Trading Secrets

Making money by trading in financial markets is great task. This is a great truth that is almost impossible for one person to teach to another. It can only be realized by the very act of trading. Accordingly, very few people enter the trading arena with their eyes fully open to the psychological and financial risks. Indeed, they approach markets in the same way that they might approach a lake containing treasure. They feel that all they have to do is set up appropriate pumping equipment and the treasure is theirs. What they do not realize is that – as in all good fairy stories – the lake has magical properties, designed to protect the integrity of the treasure. Most people who touch the sparkling water of the lake are doomed to be transformed by it: they become treasure protectors instead of treasure hunters. The problem is that there is an energy in financial markets that somehow coerces and organizes investors into a single-minded unit. The force is a psychological one, and it is so powerful that investors do not recognize it until they are finally caught in a disastrous bear market that wipes out months, of hard work.

Secrets that a share trader should know

The corollary of this is that truly great traders are very rare – only a few have the special clothing that protects them from the secret effects of the lake. What is it, though, that separates such traders from the rest of us? How can some traders make regular and large profits, while others are unable to string two successive winning trades together? Most obvious answer is that the entire great technical analyst uses clearly defined system and they stick to the rules. They understand that market does what it does and they have no control over it. They don’t regret taking loss and are much dynamic in decision making.

His indulgence in the markets was akin to average traders going through the ups and downs of the markets. In 2001, he tried his hand at business and registered as an introducing stock broker in India. From here on started the spectacular journey of Technical Analysis of Finance Markets. The very first introduction to Elliott Wave through Robert Preachers book ‘The Elliott Wave Principle’ changed the way he viewed markets. As he puts it, “I have learned about the market from three ‘R’s – Ralph, Robert and Richard In October 2005, a chance observation by his then 13 year old daughter led to the discovery of the First Key to the market. By then, life appears to have armed him with all the skills required for distilling and formulating the secrets of R. N. Elliott.

As the first key was being investigated, the other seven keys started appearing one after another. The keys are being applied for successful forecasts of the markets from then on. From 2001 to 2007 the business of stock broking grew multifold and in December 2007, he sold the business to concentrate on advising and helping others discover the Golden Keys to the markets. Major success includes calling the top of Nifty and Sensex in January 2008, the top of Nymex Crude, the reversal of Indian Rupee in February 2008, the bottom of 6200 for the Dow Jones Industrials, 9 months before it posted its bottom of 6470 etc. Thus his main skill is Elliot wave.

  • NAJEEB T P says:

To my limited understanding scientific version of price motion seems that If the motion of prices were with uniform velocity and uniform acceleration , price motion would have it plotted as straight line if depicted in a chart showing linear motion. But in reality prices moves with variable velocity and variable acceleration and hence when plotted we it is seen as zigzag with nonlinear motion. Economic version of price movement seems that price moves with varied speed and varied volatility and this volatility gives opportunity for traders to trade and make money in the markets. Had the volatility been constant and speed be constant prices would have moved in a straight line and investors would have got fixed returns in fixed time lengths.(CAGR over an year and log return on a daily basis. If volatility and speed is zero then prices would not move and traders will have no opportunity. Returns in the market (positive or negative)are as a result of dispersion from the price equilibrium point created by demand and supply at that instance. A new equilibrium point is created with each trade and based on the equilibrium point in the underlying is the futures equilibrium point and options equilibrium point evolved. In Indian market context the shift of equilibrium point is seen set at 5 paisa for all scrips and indices. The shift of the equilibrium point in underlying translates its effect to the futures equilibrium point in turn passing its effect on to the options equilibrium point with option pricing following the underlying pricing based on its sensitivity of the first , second and third order. Dynamics of the equilibrium point shift is complex and not merely apparently visible demand and supply. It is neither totally fundamental nor technical but natural like a river flow around the theoretical value line. It is a mixture of rational calculus and irrational randomness with butterfly effects playing its role .The whole market seems mathematically programmed and marketmaked in such a way that when underlying moves(without any effect of time) futures and options too moves in a mathematical way dependant on time length to expiry. Fundamental analysis tries to look the linear motion of the underlying value based on macros and micros and not bothered about the noises in between where as technical analysis is bothered only on the effect of the noises benchmarking certain points in economic space like price ,volume and open interest but not taking the time length and underlying value. If robots with artificial intelligence could be created with infinitesimal calculus skills and chaos reading skills which can comprehend, synthesise analyse and evaluate infinitesimal data, macro and micro, it would be good bye fund managers over period of time . Many conglomerates are already on the move to tap AI. Could happen within a decade . Lets wait and see. Would appreciate if I could have your email id to explain you some scientific versions of price motion if price is equated to a mathematical object and the principles of Newtonian motion and chaotic motion is applied along with mathematical and economic theories.

  • NAJEEB T P says:

What you said is partially correct.Technical analysis is a pseudoscience using limited knowledge on social science theories and statistical language. If underlying price can be equated to a mathematical object and if the relation of its motion, deviation to time length and its lambda sensitivity of the first , second and third order derivatives is understood it seems to make good trading strategies bettering both the pseudosciences of technical analysis and fundamental analysis combined.Market motions are a combination of rational calculus and irrational randomness and hence natural like a riverflow and not fundamental or technical .Newtonian motion , Brownian motion , chaotic motion and planetary motion and other scientific theories explain price motion better than economic hypothesis and theories.

    Technical Analysis is dead.
It is just another example of pseudoscience. Every self obsessive trader in every second Street of country see himself as analyst using free amibroker.
People earlier busy making cycle punchers now pretends to be technical Analysis & market gurus. I received hundreds of calls from second tier cities like Indore from scammers asking to subscribe for research pack from their firm. Thanks to loose data protection practices at CDSL/NSDL from where they buy financial details of clients opening dear accounts.
I request you to please make at least Rs.10/- from market than only pretend to be analyst.
Anyway ! punchers banao miyan usi main kamai hai 🙂
